About
Founded in 1993 by the late Pam Mielarczyk, Dance Dynamics has been part of the Macon dance community for more than 30 years. Today, under the direction of owner Melanie Emory, Dance Dynamics continues that legacy while creating new opportunities for the next generation of dancers.
For 18 seasons, Melanie has led the studio with a focus on strong training, meaningful opportunities, and an environment where dancers are challenged, encouraged, and known. Dance Dynamics alumni have continued their training and careers at the collegiate and professional levels, including Broadway.
Our faculty brings experience across ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre, tumbling, and pointe, giving dancers the opportunity to build a strong and versatile foundation.
Beyond weekly classes, dancers looking for additional training and performance opportunities can audition for the Dance Dynamics Company, with opportunities to attend competitions, conventions, performances, and train with guest teachers and choreographers throughout the season.
Whether a dancer walks through our doors for their very first class or has bigger goals ahead, we want Dance Dynamics to be a place where they can work hard, build confidence, make friendships, and grow into more than dancers.

Dance Dynamics believed in me before I ever knew how far a career in dance and performance could take me. I think back on after school rehearsals and weekend competitions often. More than any award, I value the community of support Dance Dynamics offers every single student that walks through the doors. My time there was as much about mastering pirouettes as it was learning to balance personal ambition with teamwork and cooperation. I cannot say enough about the joy that Dance Dynamics has brought our family. Our daughter began dancing at the age of 3 and completed her final year of dance at 17. We watched her grow in discipline, courage, athleticism, and confidence. We cherish the friendships made, and opportunities given to her through classes, competitions, and conventions! I can’t wait for my granddaughter to be old enough to start dance!

Growing up, I always had a place to call a home away from home. That's what Dance Dynamics was for me. A group of dancers and instructors that supported, encouraged and challenged one another to reach our fullest and strongest potential as dancers, athletes and human beings. After almost 10 years of training and competing with DD, parting ways for college was rather difficult to say the least. I will forever be grateful to owner, Melanie Emory, and my entire Dance Dynamics family for playing such an invaluable role in my life and helping me grow into the individual I am today.

My 11 years at Dance Dynamics made me a stronger dancer and person! Having grown up at DDS and now a graduate from high school, I feel completely prepared to pursue a career in dance and follow in the footsteps of the excellent role models DDS has provided me. Dance Dynamics is so much more than a studio; it's a family. Growing up at Dance Dynamics shaped me into the dancer I am today. Melanie, Kathryn, and everyone there wants you to be the best you can be. There's no such thing as mediocrity here. They push you to reach your best potential and encourage you to continue to strive to be better than you were before. Without them, I wouldn't have found my passion to perform and the confidence to pursue my dreams. I couldn't imagine growing up at any other studio. It not only shaped me into the performer I am today, but the person I am as well. I wish I could rewind time and relive it all over again. My years at Dance Dynamics were some of the happiest memories I have to this day. When people ask me what studio I went to, I always enthusiastically reply, "Dance Dynamics!" Words don't adequately describe the mark this studio has left on my heart. I am forever grateful for every moment I spent learning and growing here. If I am blessed enough to have a daughter of my own one day, she will most definitely be a student at Dance Dynamics.
